Look out for our new branding device Hi – Healthy illawarra®. Its purpose is to create a brand that can unify health promoting activities and organisations across the Illawarra as well as articulate the outcome that we are all working towards.

While Healthy Cities Illawarra is well known amongst other not-for profit organisations, many of whom have partnered with us on successful programs over the years, we are less well known amongst local businesses. For this reason, the new brand was officially launched at a Business After Hours Event conducted in collaboration with the Illawarra Business Chamber on Wednesday 5 December. This was a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase all of the great work we do and make local business aware that we have been operating to improve the health of the Illawarra for over 25years. As a result of this successful launch we hope to develop new relationships and partnership with local businesses into the future.

We were delighted that over 200 local business people attended and that the word is now out! Some businesses have already indicated that they are interested to talk with us about opportunities to partner next year.

Businesses also had a preview of a new television commercial that we expect will screen on local TV this year. So please watch out for our new brand and start thinking creatively about partnering opportunities for 2013! http://youtu.be/Ml8eo0L9Pgo
